Th9 Hog Attack Strategy 2019 Main idea Take out the enemy CC and AQ with a KS (kill squad). and then send in hogs (supported by heal spells) to take out the defences.

Hard to reach AQ and CC. behind key defences: 2 Golems. 8 wiz. CC bowlers. rage. possibly one jump and as many wallbreakers as needed. Variation: Replace a few wizards with baby dragons. Variation: Instead of taking a jump for a heavy KS. consider using raged wall breakers. This gives you one extra heal for the hogs. If your heroes are low. you might need an extra golem. IF YOU DO NOT GET THE AQ AND CC WITH YOUR KS. YOU WILL NOT 3 STAR. Once you have decided on a kill squad. fill the rest of your army with hogs. and maybe an archer or two for corner huts. and one wizard for clean up.

If you’re taking CC bowlers for your KS. then take a rage. The best value for your rage is on the Bowlers. because under rage the bounce attack often takes take out the building it hits. If you don’t need CC bowlers for your KS. take CC hogs.

For spells. try and take 3 heals for your hogs. If you are getting lots of value for your KS. then you might need to commit two spells to the KS. In this case you’ll be left with two heals for your hogs.

Performing the attack. Start by sending in your KS to take out the enemy AQ and CC.  IF YOU DO NOT GET THE AQ AND CC WITH YOUR KS. YOU WILL NOT 3 STAR.   (Remember to save one wizard for cleanup. ) Ideally. you should shoot for having an “L” shaped piece left over after your KS attacks. Once CC and AQ have been taken care off. send in hogs. Start close to where the surviving parts of your KS are. and drop about 15 hogs on one section (4 or 5 hogs per defence). Once they’ve taken out that section and move to the next defences. sprinkle in the rest of your hogs gradually. Try and get them all moving together around the base in the same direction. Heal hogs as needed. and drop a poison on ground skeletons.

Roughly plan out your heals before starting your attack. Wiz towers and bomb towers are your biggest threat. X-bows have high HP. and your hogs will spend a lot of time there. so healing there will be valuable.

Even though it could be a complex task for you in luring your troops out of the castle. but it will provide you more protection and benefits while you are battling with your enemy using this layout.

Okay. here is another base layout that will be ideal to defend from valkyries attacks. drag attacks. and also gowipe attacks. The highly secured air-defenses are euipped and located all over the layout. which make it hard and even impossible for the drags to steal out 3 stars from you if you are usig this layout!

This attacking composition works great for Clan War and regular attacking. It is best for Th9 and Th10. but you can also attack Th11 bases. especially with the new Balloon Level 7 and Lava Hound Level 4.

Where are the Air Defenses and what level? Where are the Air Sweepers placed & what Direction are the covering? (TH10 and TH11) Where are the Inferno Towers? If the Air Defenses are all inside the core. you’ll have a hard time. Lava Hounds will go directly to Air Defenses and leaving outside defenses to take out your Balloons. This will not work because you need to distract the defenses with your Lava Hounds to give the Balloons opportunity to take down defenses from the outside

Also. take a close look where the Air Sweepers are pointed. They can really slow down your Balloons and Lava Hounds. This to gives defenses the chance to target Balloons instead of the Lava Hounds or can prevent the Balloons from dealing damage on defenses. Try not to attack directly INTO the direction of an Air Sweeper when possible. Come from behind or from the side

Do not deploy them from the same spot – you want them to cover a larger area and trigger all air traps before your Balloons are released. This should look somewhat like this:lavaloon th9 attack

Please Note: If you brought Minions as well. you can directly deploy them behind the Balloons. Don’t worry because the Lava Hounds already triggered all air traps and the Balloons go for the defenses. so they won’t get hurt. lavaloon th9 attack

This Clash of Clans strategy features golems. wizards. and valkyries doing the main damage as they rip apart fellow TH9s for the three star. Today. I am going to teach you TH9s how to use this GoWiVa strategy in war and all the steps to success!

TH9 GoWiVa Army Composition As with every army composition. GoWiVa can vary a lot between specific numbers of troops. Obviously. you must have golem. wizards. and valkyries in as that is the strategy name. but how many should you bring? Here are my counts for a general GoWiVa army. but again it should vary based on the base you are attacking!

Generally. you should bring 2 golems. one cooked up in your army and a maxed one sitting in your clan castle. Also you want to bring a lot of valkyries. at the minimum 12. as they are going to be the main damage dealer within the composition. Wizards aren’t as important. but you should bring 10-15 depending on how many outside buildings you need to clear. Other troops like archers. goblins. and barbarians for clean up. should be kept to minimum if you are going for a three star.

As for spells. you want to definitely bring 4 earthquake spells in order to open up a section to funnel your valks. Heal spells are also important as your valkyries are relatively weak. A rage might be smart to bring for the core of the base. just to clear everything out easily. Now that we have the basis for composition down. lets move on to the attack strategy itself.

Create a Path for the Troops So the single most common error with valkyrie attacks is to have the valkyries circle around the base. Valkyries are some of the dumbest troops in Clash of Clans. closely behind the archer queen! You need to open up an area in the base that the valks can storm though and not be distracted by those pesky gold mines. Use your 4 earthquake spells to open up a path into the core.

The spot where you want to earthquake needs to be connected to the outside of the base. but also be at a maximum of 1 compartment away from the core of the base. Once you open up a hole. you are clear to send in your golems.

Send in your Tank In order for your attack to be successful. you need to get all the defenses targeted on the golems in order to avoid damage going to your valkyries. This is especially true for multi-target infernos. Play your golems off to the side of the opening in the base. so that they can attract as many defenses as possible.

Funneling your Heroes and Wizards After your golems have started taking damage. you want to send in your wizards as soon as possible to start creating a funnel. Remember. heroes get distracted just as easily as valkyries do. Just remember to not clear the buildings for which you want your heroes to head towards!

Once that your wizards have cleared enough buildings. its time to send in your heroes in get deep into the base. Your heroes are more important in this strategy than most others in Clash of Clans. so it is critical that they head towards the center of the base. Proper placement is key. just make it so they will head toward the closest building behind walls.

Valkyries Head In Once that you do put your heroes in the base as a secondary tank. it is time for the real damage dealers to come in. Make sure to play them right after the heroes. or else the heroes will clear too many buildings and your valks will head around the outside of the base. Drop your valkyries all together in a single spot. that way they can deal damage faster and be together for spells. You don’t need to worry about bombs and traps because all your other troops will have cleared them.
